I don't think arbitrariness is the way to put it...ultimate generality...universality...but it's not arbitrary, just the apex generality. There's only one.

I feel as an individual citizen, I do this, but I do feel like only 1/3 of us are doing it. Or you could see it the other way, that the US has always been the worst of it.

I cannot do this easily...temporary moment specific amnesia....

It leads to an extinction of universal values, but a detached consensual value system floating in an overall state of war could literally kill others to maintain itself while agents in the in group are good to each other.

...but we have to give ourselves credit sometimes and let what can be known, be known.

But don't forget...rationalizations for owning man as a commodity...well...through his never-ending service, anyway...☠️
